| A warm welcome to aviation enthusiast and visitors of our web site. I have had a life long interest in flying and skydiving, and a few years ago I decided to set up my own airport. Eventually the idea of establishing an aeroclub took a concrete form and within a short span of time the Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub became a reality, a well known aviation club in the region.
The Aeroclub has its own asphalt runway, long and wide enough to cater for light turbo props and jet aircraft. Taxiway and runways are built and marked to international standards. The runway is equipped with pilot controlled lighting (PCL) system, which is the one and only of its kind in the Middle East. The airport is approved and monitored by the General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates.
Our fleet of aeroplanes consists of latest model Cessna 172’s, Cessna 182, Piper Seneca II and Beech King Air BE-90 Turboprops. All aeroplanes have state of the art communication and navigational equipment with Global Position System and Autopilot, fully equipped to fly in all weather conditions.
The Aeroclub offers flight and skydiving training. People from all walks of life are welcome and encouraged to take the membership and fulfill their dreams of becoming pilots or professional skydivers.
